  42.     The clue resides in the other half of the connection story: the
  43. remote host. If that host happens to be a Linux system then please be
  44. aware that some such lose their ARP cache and fail to communicate after
  45. the timeout. You should also get 21 May 95 edition of MSK if you don't
  46. have it (kermit.columbia.edu, cd kermit/msdos, binary file msvibm.zip).
  47.     The "lockup" is waiting for the other end to respond to a proper
  48. TCP segment, and the timeout can be a couple of minutes.
